A series of monoprints I did at college. We used various tools and
materials as well as papers for this. It was a bit messy but I liked the
different and sometimes unexpected results of monoprinting and am quite
happy with the outcome. Monoprinting is not as boring as I imagined
before. E.g. I produced some interesting textures by using a wet brush
on the plate with ink already rolled on, or splashing some water on it,
or making a collage of monoprints, etc. And the reason why some faces
look the same is that we used drawings from portrait studies we did in
autumn.
